Yes, there are real differences, but they’re less about being a completely separate service and more about technique, chemistry, styling philosophy, and long-term lash health. Traditional Lash Lifts vs. Korean Lash Lifts
A traditional, classic lash lift is designed to curl natural lashes upward using a perm-based lifting solution and silicone rods or shields. Depending on the rod size and lash length, the final result can range from softly lifted to highly dramatic. A Korean lash lift takes a softer and more delicate approach. Korean lash lifts typically rely on cysteamine-based formulas instead, which are considered gentler and more conditioning while still delivering noticeable lift.
