Each of our faces is unique, which means our eyebrows are also unique. There are many variants of eyebrow shapes, however. And to achieve the best shape for your face, a few factors come into play. When an artist is reviewing your face for eyebrow threading shapes, she looks for the following things: 1. Amount of hair to work with 2. Facial structure 3. Current width and thickness of eyebrows 4. Potential of growth for areas that are missing hair 5. The natural shape and overall desired look Below is a general template on creating a brow shape. Keep in mind shapes will vary based on the above factors.   Not everyone will be able to achieve their perfect, desired eyebrow shape. Not only because of the factors mentioned, but hormones and genetics also play a major factor in hair growth as well. For those that are unable to achieve the perfect brow shape with their natural hairs, microblading is a great alternative. When asking for a certain shape during eyebrow threading, be aware of areas in your eyebrow that are sparse/have no hair, scars in brows, and overall thickness and width. Threading is great for cleaning up brows and precision; however, it is not a miracle service, we cannot put hairs in areas that do not have any. It is also important to note that the goal with any eyebrow service is to create a shape that fits your face and is as even as possible. Our eyebrows are more like sisters, not twins so making them 100% symmetrical and even is sometimes an impossible task. If trying to achieve a certain brow shape within the limits of your brows, it’s important to be patient and work with your eyebrow artist throughout the process. It may take 6 months to a year to naturally achieve the desired brows but it’s definitely possible!
